IMPORTANT CHANGES COMING IN CLAIMS HANDLING & SETTLEMENTS BY INSURERS

Recently members may have been aware and possibly advised by their local association of the changes in the Financial Services Laws which now include the Claims Handling and Settling Services of the insurance industry, which in first glance is a good outcome for clients but also industry’s that service insurers such as collision repairers.

 

However their maybe more to the new laws that may affect our industry and how they may include all businesses that service insurers and act on their behalf when dealing with the insureds clients, whilst we are still seeking advice on the impact of the new laws due to be enacted this year and in particular over the next half of the year we have included a video recently posted by Rob Bartlett formerly of Suncorp but now running his own business Supply Side, this video chat with Paul Muir a compliance expert give a good picture of what is on its way and what we may need to do to be ready.
